En la ciudad de Mendoza, agencias locales de turismo y hostels, abren sus puertas a pasantes extranjeros interesados en hacer trabajo voluntario en las siguientes areas:

But tours activities also deals with people from different cultures, so being friendly and enthusiastic is an important skill requirement too. In Mendoza city, local tourist agencies and hostels open their doors to foreign interns willing to provide help in areas such as:

ONGs volunteering in Mendoza.

Direct participation of citizens is an important component of democracy. Here in Mendoza many ONGs address political transparency as a concept to be developed trough citizen participation in politics. Budget analysis, as a control citizen tool, is one of the subjects being developed.

As for all ONGs, volunteering is very a helpful tool to carry on projects. If you think you are ready to make a contribution to this topic, there is a place for you. Send us your CV and we will contact you with the ONG needing your help.

The technical profile required for this call is: social workers, political scientist, lawyers, or any other profile coming from social sciences. The activities you are expected to do are the following:

• Data collecting: interviewing different social actors, files reading, statistics, etc
• Information analysis: using different technical methodologies for analysis
• Report writing: results publishing

Three months is the minimum required to be part of a project. You have to design a project in accordance to the ONG needs and also hiring an international health insurance and accommodation for the period of time that you will be in Mendoza. A tourist visa for 3 month is required. In case you decide to stay longer you can extend your visa. The program fee is 200US$.
